Yesterday I went to this really cute Italian restaurant with my Dad for lunch. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and then looked for something else to go with it since my stomach is a bottomless pit. I chose garlic knots because it sounded interesting (and I like garlic) and I am so glad I did because they are AMAZING. I got like 20 of them just dripping with oil and garlic, a heart attack on a plate, and I ate every one. I didn't even feel bad. That is all.

My brother, "Do you want to just get in the car and drive and see where it takes us?" It was sort of romantic how noncommittally she replied, "Yeah." I miss Adam, but it feels good, like eighth grade vacation. Other things don't feel as good.

My Mom bought me a TV stand for Christmas and I'm feeling overwhelmed with this idea of where to put it. My apartment is a mess. I should probably focus on cleaning and putting away clothes before I try and tackle the assembly of new furniture.
Maybe I should just stay in bed and sleep off this phlegm in the back of my throat.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year were awesome. Spent time with family, went out to eat where I spent more time with my second family (aka my close friends), watched Avatar 3D (which I reviewed here), and exchanged gifts with everyone.
I got a bunch of random things this Christmas. You can see them all ( under the cut ).
I'm kind of sad that the holidays are practically over (with the exception of New Year's). I was waiting for them all year so of course the days go by in a flash. Next year I'm looking forward to finishing college, going on a few vacations that I'll most likely be going on alone, my 23rd birthday, and that's about it for now.
How was your Christmas? Did you get what you wanted (what did you get anyway)? What are you looking forward to next year?

So it's like two in the AM right now. My Christmas was cute. Christmas morning (like, three AM) me, my mom, my sis, and aunt had an early breakfast of eggs and ribs and watched the first half of West Side Story. We exchanged presents, which we haven't done in a couple years (plus I spent last Christmas in Ghana) so it was nice and all that. Later in the day we had a little get together, some friends came over and we went up to my room and watched District 9. Everyone left around midnight, the fam chilled for like an hour watching the Wendy Williams Show, and then I high-tailed my ass upstairs with a bottle of Corona and some pistachios to find the first upload of "The End of Time" that I could get my hands on.

Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like to have a personal website again. Some days I'll link hop from website to website out of boredom like the good ol' days. Sometimes I read the blogs (most of the time I don't), or check out the content if there is any. There was a time where I would take the time to read every blog on my links list, ooh and aah over new designs, wonder about what to write about in order to entertain my readers in some way, read articles on webdesign and blogging, etc.
To be honest, ever since I closed down chiklita.net I haven't seriously thought about bringing it back. I know if I did I'd bore all of my readers with my lazy blogs about nothing. I'm okay with doing that on livejournal but I can't justify doing it while promoting myself and promoting my website. I guess I care a little too much? I don't know. I know if I'm promoting my website I'd want it to be worth visiting. And I'd want my blogs to be written in such a way that my readers feel it's worth coming back to read each new post. That's what I tried to do in my old website, anyway.
I don't know where I'm going with this. It's the caffeine talking I guess. Just random thoughts.
I know some of you on my friends lists have websites right now. Have you ever thought about shutting down your site?

So a few things have happened since my last entry: - We set up a little Christmas tree and stockings!
- We painted our living room:
- We had our Christmas Party with our best friends and exchanged gifts early since we'll all be with our families on Christmas day. Or at least, that was the original plan... now some of us want to hang out on Christmas Day because no one ever does anything.
Yay for food! We played Clue, watched Vampire Diaries, talked, and then shared all of our gifts. I'll probably make a list of what I got later.
- Thanks to those of you who filled out the poll in my last entry! I made a little review blog here on LJ: chiklitareviews This will be fun, I always want to post reviews on here but I never thought anyone really cared. - I made Christmas icons too, for hystoria . I'll be putting those up tomorrow morning hopefully. I made like 40 of them. I couldn't help myself, I love Christmas.
How are your preparations going for the holidays? Has anyone gotten all of their shopping done? I got 99% of it done, but I still have to get my parents their gifts. There's tons of snow on the ground up north, something like 20 inches in some areas?! WTH. How do you guys manage?!
